Shoebox Theatre CIO, is a community theatre in Tamworth run by volunteer Trustees, with activities run by actors

We currently have two groups running: play-reading and drama/video and writing for performance. Thanks to CommunityTogether c.i.c, Shoebox is based at

Offa House, Orchard Street.

1. The Play-reading group, open to all, meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month. This is an open group to which all are welcome. We meet up at the Offa House Helping Hands Cafe at 1pm for a drink, a snack & a chat. We have a raffle before we start the play at 1.30pm finish around 4pm.

This calendar shows all Shoebox dates.

2.  On Wednesdays the open drama/writing group meets weekly from 7.00pm to 8.30pm  All ages from 13+ are welcome, with no upper age limit. No experience needed. There is no set fee, but donations are welcome.  From a mixture of drama games and exercises we develop and produce our own performances as plays, videos and other entertainments to share live or on line.

We hope to revive our after school youth group.  Get in touch if you would be interested.
