SHOEBOX THEATRE DIVERSITY EVENTS 2006 GUEST ARTISTS ..... Erica
Nockalls For this year-long project we held a series of themed sessions with guest artists, which aimed to introduce older Tamworth residents to some of the many cultures that inform modern British life; and to give them a taste of different art forms (and foods!). These seven events were held across Tamworth and district from May to December. Part of our brief is to break down barriers across communities and age groups, which is why we included in these events a wide mix of age and backgound, both as contributors and visitors. The events were: St George's Day; Celtic Celebration; East & West European Days; Antipodean BBQ; Asian Day; and a Caribbean Christmas.
